Installed screens on our back porch. MITS was very easy to work with. Caleb was excellent explaining every aspect and he and Timothy were efficient and detail oriented in their work. The materials are outstanding as well. They were installed on a dusty and breezy day. As soon as the screens were down, the breeze reduced dramatically and the dust was imperceptible. Can’t wait to use these in the winter to keep our porch warm and snow-free. Worth it!

Once I made my appointment which admittedly take a few weeks due to their busy season, I had a good experience with an in-home consult where we reviewed different products and options. Michele and Kurt are warm friendly people who guided my husband and I through the window treatment process. They patiently asked us questions to determine what we were looking for, offered ideas, and helped us fine tune colors. Caleb installed our treatments and we absolutely love them! I thought it would take some time to get used to the colors, but they blend so beautifully it looks like they have always been there. We started the process back in January, and from the very beginning, Michele and Kurt, the owners, were absolutely fantastic. They met us at the home we were building and immediately stood out as knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely enjoyable to work with. It was truly a breath of fresh air. They had thoughtful recommendations for every window in the house. One perfect example was the banded shades they suggested for our sliding glass door and the door from our master bedroom to the backyard. Wow. They are both beautiful and incredibly functional. The remaining windows were completed with shutters, and everything came together perfectly. Our home closed in May (about a week ago) and throughout the entire process Michele and Kurt stayed in constant communication, keeping us updated on arrivals and coordinating installation scheduling. The morning after closing, right on time, the doorbell rang and there was Kurt along with his installers, Caleb and Tim. They spent most of the day at our home, and the craftsmanship was outstanding. Everything looks beautiful. Caleb also took the time to thoroughly walk us through the remotes and programming for the shades. The programming can definitely get a little confusing, but he explained everything clearly and made it easy to understand. Their pricing was also very reasonable compared to others we looked at around town. Some companies inflate pricing just so they can offer what appears to be a large discount during the sales appointment. That was not our experience here. With Michele and Kurt, the pricing felt honest and fair from the beginning, and any discounts they offered were genuine and meaningful. We are incredibly grateful we found Made in the Shade. On top of everything else, their products come with a lifetime warranty so it’s nice to know they (and the manufacturer) stand behind their products!

Great product!!! I’m very pleased with my shades, it was a rooftop deck project, Josh and Caleb handled everything (including climbing those stairs over and over never even heard them grunt😁) with care and professionalism. These guys were very respectful with GREAT personalities. I love when I’m able to invite others into my home and feel good vibes. All questions were answered, clean up was great.
